Hello everyone! I am Adish Joshi, and I will be serving as the President of Cutting Edge 2023.

Cutting Edge is the type of club where we not only learn how to teach, we also teach everyone else how to learn. From surgical-skill workshops to brainy events, exciting collabs, and intriguing talks, we do it all and so much more!

I am so proud to be a part of this community, not only because we follow “The Grind” religiously when it comes to our events, but also because it has provided me with an amazing opportunity to make a lot of great friendships with my seniors, my juniors and people within my batch.

I can’t understate what an amazing experience and an honour it has been to be a member of Cutting Edge for the past 2 years. From learning discipline, hard work and surgical skills to finding an amazing group of genuinely wholesome friends, this community has probably had the most profound impact on my college life.

I can’t wait to reveal to you guys what all we have in store for the coming year, it’s going to be exciting trust me! Till then, cheers, and see ya!

Nitya Krishna

Hello everyone, I’m Nitya and I’ll be serving as your Vice President for the year of 2023.

Here at Cutting Edge, our goal is to teach undergraduate medical students the basic surgical skills required by any doctor. We also aim, in the process of learning, to spark your curiosity and interest in the exhilarating subject of surgery.

Throughout the year, we conduct a variety of programs, ranging from skill-based workshops to adrenaline-filled events, and intriguing talks with eminent professors. We bring to you academics packed with fun and excitement.

My last year in CE has taught me many things. From learning how to throw surgical knots to suturing intestines, from attending events to learning how to organize them, CE has provided me with a mammoth of opportunities to grow and hone my skills. We are a community of people who push each other to become our best selves, while always having one another’s back, for whom I’m ever grateful.

I have the utmost confidence in our team, and cannot wait to show you what we have in store. I’m really looking forward to seeing you at all our events this year!

Hello everybody! I’m Bhavya and I’ll be serving as the General Secretary for Cutting Edge for this term.

It’s an absolute honour to be part of such a wonderful and talented team that strives to bring out the best in everybody. I have truly found a family in them. And I look forward to giving and learning more from this family in the coming term.

This year we, at Cutting Edge, strive to bring out more innovative and creative workshops and events full of opportunities to learn and grow for all our members. Here’s to a greater year ahead!

Alisha Lobo

Hello! I am Alisha Chrissel Lobo and I’ll be serving as Treasurer for Cutting Edge 2023.

It will be my responsibility to manage expenses and to overlook finances throughout the year.

I have been in Cutting Edge for a year and I have gained a lot from it. It has taught me about surgery and has aided me to grow in all aspects.

Cutting Edge has enriched my college experience more than words can express. I am absolutely thrilled to be working with old and new members alike and make this a truly memorable term ❤️✨️

I’m Vaishnavi and I’ll be serving as the Webmaster for this term. I’ll essentially be responsible for keeping the website updated with everything we do.

This is my second year in Cutting Edge. We did a great job last year and I’m pumped to see what new heights we’ll achieve this year. It was a pleasure learning and growing with the most affectionate, hardworking, and talented team this past year and I can only see myself evolving more.

Hello Everyone! I, Manan Chawda, take immense pleasure in introducing myself as the Head of Design for the 12th Cutting Edge!

At Cutting Edge, We’ve always dedicated ourselves to making learning the most fun, productive and memorable. With the excitement that our entire team holds, the vision that our leaders foster, and the guidance that our seniors provide, Cutting Edge naturally becomes the ideal place to become the best version of yourself and show the world your true potential.

I have always treated CE as my family. It is for the first time in the past years that I realized that it’s not about the number of years of experience, but the number of experiences in a year. Give CE your best, and it gives you back everything and so much more.

I’m Aarushi and I’ll be a part of the design team for this term. This is my first year at Cutting Edge and I can’t even explain how excited I am for the upcoming year. I love the entire concept of ‘found family’ and I am super grateful that I get to be a part of the CE family and work alongside a group of super talented and passionate people.
As a part of the design team, it’s my work to effectively communicate with you all through my designs and illustrations. Really looking forward to learning various interesting surgical skills and then teaching them to you all. Hello everyone! I am Elvin Joshua Pinto, a member of the design team. This is my first year in Cutting Edge 2023, and I am so excited to learn new skills and be a part of organising upcoming events.
Cutting Edge is a family of enthusiastic and hardworking individuals who are not only interested in acquiring new skills and sharing their knowledge with others but also encourage their fellow members, uplift them in times of need, and transform their weaknesses into strengths.

I’m Samridhi and I’m a member of the Publicity Team here at Cutting Edge! Or as we like to call it ‘Cutest Edge’ 😉. Cutting Edge is filled with probably the most talented, kind, and hard-working individuals you’ll find here at KMC Manipal, and we can’t wait to share with you our infectious love for our academic club and learning new things over the upcoming year!

As we all know medical school can be quite overwhelming sometimes with the sheer number of things we need to learn and skills we need to practice. And we at Cutting Edge are all committed to helping you through your journey.

This is my second year as a member of the publicity team, and I’m so grateful and excited to be a part of this amazing team (if you couldn’t already tell). And I can assure you that we have quite a number of exciting things in store for you all, so get ready!
