Hello everyone! I’m Aarushi, and I’ll be serving as the Head of Design for this term.
Hello everyone! I’m Aarushi, and I’ll be serving as the Head of Design for this term.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned from Cutting Edge is that our potential knows no bounds – we’re capable of achieving anything and everything. Being part of CE for the past three years has been transformative, allowing me to grow so much as a teacher, learner, designer, problem solver, and so much more. I’m extremely grateful for this experience.
I’m thrilled to be working alongside such a talented team in Cutting Edge the Fourteenth. Looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for us!

Elvin Joshua Pinto
Hey there! I’m Elvin, a designer at Cutting Edge – part-time med student, full-time enthusiast of all things surgical. When I’m not dissecting cadavers or organizing workshops that make adrenaline surge faster than a ruptured aneurysm, you’ll find me brainstorming ways to make sutures, scrubs, and scalpels the coolest trio on campus. Here to make the cut (pun intended) and help CE slice into another incredible year!

Leya Roy
This year, I’m excited to learn new skills with the club and grow alongside my peers. I’m really looking forward to all the CE workshops and interactive activities—they make learning practical and genuinely fun. I’m especially keen on the hands-on sessions where we get to try out real skills like suturing, knot tying, and handling instruments. Being around others who share the same interest makes the whole experience even more motivating.
One thing I’m truly grateful for is the chance to learn from seniors. Their experience, guidance, and feedback help me understand not just surgical techniques, but also the mindset, discipline, and patience the field demands.
This year, I hope to build meaningful connections, keep improving my skills, and soak up as much knowledge as I can. CE is such a great space to challenge myself, try new things, and stay inspired about the journey ahead.

Anoushka Goswami
I’m looking forward to learning new things – to see and actively participate in knowing about subjects and topics I have been passionate about as a little girl who first saw her first surgery with stars in her eyes. I’m also excited to spend more time with my lovely cutting (cutest) edge members!!

Sameera Mantripragada

Not only is gaining hands on experience so important to me, but so is building lasting friendships with my fellow seniors and peers. Overall, I’m eager to learn, grow and contribute to the club’s mission while developing expertise on various surgical subjects. Bring on the opportunities!
PUBLICITY TEAM

Barkha Boral
Head of Publicity
Hey there, I’m Barkha Boral, and I’ll be serving as the Head of PR at Cutting Edge this year! My interest in surgery kicked off at the tender age of 10, blame it on Dr. House MD, Grey’s Anatomy and my accomplice-in-crime, my dear mom. Notable mention to my crush: Robert Sean Leonard who kept me going even when he stopped (in the show!). Since then I’ve had a fascination for the human body that’s practically surgical-grade. Other than that, OT days and afternoon naps make me feel closer to my dreams. Looking forward to so much this year!

Vaishnavi Singh
Helluu! I am Vaishnavi and I’ll be working in the PR department this year. I can’t believe it’s already my final year in CE, it feels like it was just yesterday when I got recruited! It’s been a crazy journey and I hold every CE memory very close to my heart.
I cannot wait to see how this term unfolds and I am confident we will continue to reach greater heights, the we do every year!

Paridhi Kaushik
This year, I’m really looking forward to diving deeper into my passion for surgery through Cutting Edge. The chance to interact with seniors and interns, learning from their experiences, is something I’m particularly excited about. Their insights will be invaluable as I work to build a more practical understanding of surgery beyond what we study in class. I’m also eager to take part in workshops and hands-on training sessions, where I can sharpen my skills and learn from my mistakes along the way. I see this as a great opportunity for personal growth—building confidence, improving my techniques, and becoming more adaptable in the face of challenges. Cutting Edge isn’t just about perfecting surgical skills; it’s also about developing the mindset and resilience needed to succeed in such a demanding field. I’m excited for the learning, growth, and mentorship that’s ahead, and I can’t wait to take on this year’s challenges with the club.
